Nearby you can find plenty of hiking and King’s Mountain and Elk Mountain trailheads are a stone’s throw from the campground. It’s used as an unofficial off-highway vehicle campground for the fast and furious riders of the Blue Mountain OHV Trails. Interagency Senior and Access Passes (and the Golden Age and Access Passes) may receive a 50% discount on the use fee for individual campsites. Elk Creek campground offers group picnic sites and tent-only campsites along Elk Creek.
